Our success rate is high, thanks to our well trained and experienced guides. All our guides speak Swahili and English fluently. The guide/s are able to assess the abilities of the climbers as they climb so they are aware of those requiring added assistance. In case anyone is not able to summit, there will be a qualified person to remain or descend with them as need be. The guides are well versed in symptoms of acute mountain sickness and the appropriate actions to be taken. Meals are varied and ample in quantity. We accommodate both vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike
Mt. Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is located at the north/eastern tip of Tanzania. For the adventurous, a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro is a must taking you through the mists of equatorial jungle to reach the snows and breath-taking views from the summit.
The upward track wends through forests that vary constantly with the altitude and finally opens out into open moorland below rocky, snow covered Kibo plateau. It has 3 volcanic centres, Shira, Kibo, and Mawenzi.
Mt. Kilimanjaro can be climbed at any time during the year. However, it is good to avoid the rainy season - April, May and November.
We also arrange for other routes including Shira, Rongai as well a climb up Mt. Meru. Please enquire.
Mt. Kenya
Mt Kenya which forms part of the Central Highlands is Africa's second highest mountain at 5199 metres. Part of the mountains attraction is the variation of flora and fauna found at different altitudes. Its gleaming and snow covered peaks can be seen for miles around and its lower slopes are intensively cultivated by the Kikuyu, Embu and Meru tribes.
Mt Kenya's highest peaks of Batian and Nelion can only be reached by mountaineers with technical skills. We do arrange for Techincal and Ice climbing - Please enquire.
However, most visitors are able to reach the more accessible Point Lenana at 4,985 m using the different routes available, and many visitors enjoy simple high altitude walks.
